Meet the Team

Hello, my name is Olivia. I am Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC). I have started my own practice to help clients explore their inner strength, build self-awareness/insights, and empower them to build confidence to work toward their life goals. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Robert Morris University and a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Slippery Rock University.

Over the years I have worked with a variety of age groups and populations within diverse settings: School-Based Mental Health, Intensive Outpatient Programs, Inpatient Hospitalization and Outpatient facilities. By creating my own practice, I aim to make a meaningful, positive difference in the community by providing support to individuals and families.

Buster Therapy cat

Hi, my name is Buster. Life started rough for me —I was a stray kitten along with my littermates until an animal rescue took us in. I was adopted at 5 months old and just a month later faced a scary diagnosis of FIP (feline infectious peritonitis). Formerly considered a 100% fatal diagnosis; there was new medicine available that helped me make a full recovery. The medication, vet visits, and procedures made for a long process and recovery. Going through that process has shown me that hard things are possible and taught me how to handle and cope with difficult life experiences. Now fully healthy, I am excited and proud to be a therapy animal so I can help others who may be going through difficult times in their life. I love offering comfort, gentle cuddles and quiet companionship —because I’ve been there too and know how much it can help.
